is conveniently located in Keswick town centre only a 20 second
walk from the town square with restaurants, shops, post office,
banks etc. It is also only 3 minutes walk from the main town park
with the cricket pitch (voted the most beautiful cricket ground
in Britain by a leading cricket magazine!), museum, river &
play area.
The property has magnificent views of Keswick town square with
the Moot Hall and Lakeland fells behind. There are also views of
Skiddaw.
From M6 motorway: Turn off at Junction 40 (Penrith) and head along
the A66 towards Keswick (about 14 miles). Take the first turn
into
Keswick and head towards the town centre (beside the river Greta).
* Continue along the road past the large public car park, the
police
station and then round post office corner (with Firns of Keswick
facing you). Stanger street is then your next right and you will
see Bookends bookshop on the corner (very obvious). Ashness apartment
is above the bookshop (the entrance is on the Stanger street side
of the building and is well marked).
From the Central Lakes - Ambleside & Windermere: Head towards
Keswick on the A591 and drop down the hill towards town. Follow
the instructions from the asterix above. |
